How long will my order take to arrive? +
Domestic Shipping — United States
- Standard Shipping: Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and transit takes an additional 3–4 business days.
- 2-Day Shipping: Orders placed before the daily cutoff time ship the same day with 2-business-day transit.
- Overnight Shipping: Qualifying orders are dispatched the same day for next business day delivery.
International Shipping
International deliveries typically arrive within 5–10 business days from the date of dispatch. Delivery times vary by destination. All customs fees assessed upon arrival are the responsibility of the recipient. Packages that go unclaimed or unpaid may be returned to sender.

What does shipping cost? +
Domestic (United States): Standard shipping is free on US retail orders over $100 USD before taxes and discounts. Expedited options are available at additional cost during checkout.
International: International shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on your order weight, dimensions, and shipping destination. You will see the most accurate rate once your address is entered.
Does Alliance Jiu Jitsu Store ship internationally? +
Yes — we ship to most countries around the world. To verify that your destination is covered, add your items to cart and enter your address at checkout. If your country appears in the destination dropdown, we ship there.
All international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees determined by the destination country. These are the customer's responsibility and are payable upon delivery.
Who pays duties and customs fees on international orders? +
Alliance Jiu Jitsu Store does not cover import duties or customs taxes for international shipments. All such fees assessed by the destination country's customs authority are the responsibility of the recipient.
If fees go unpaid and the package is returned to our facility, store credit will be issued for the order value, minus the original shipping charge. What happens when my order is returned to sender? +
If your order is returned to our warehouse, we will investigate and contact you by email to discuss the resolution:
If the return was not caused by our team (e.g., an incorrect address was submitted, delivery was refused, or customs fees were unpaid), we will offer a refund or store credit.
If the return was due to an error on our end or a carrier failure (such as a warehouse mistake or failed delivery on a correct address), we will offer a replacement shipment or a full refund.

How do I track my Alliance order? +
Once your order has been fulfilled and shipped from our warehouse, you will receive a tracking confirmation email with your tracking number and a direct link to follow your shipment's progress.

What is the Alliance Jiu Jitsu Store return policy? +
We back every Alliance product with a straightforward return policy. Returns are accepted on items in brand-new, resalable condition — unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags and packaging intact — within 60 days of the delivery date. Approved returns may be resolved as:
- Refund — processed back to your original payment method within 3–5 business days of return approval
- Store Credit — issued via email and available for use on any future order
Returns are not accepted on items showing any signs of wear, washing, or mat use unrelated to a manufacturing issue. Please allow 5–7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) for your return to be inspected once it reaches our facility.
Certain items may be marked as final sale or excluded from returns due to hygiene. This is clearly indicated on the product page before purchase.
How do I start a return? +

Return Shipping Labels:
- If you added Free Return Insurance at checkout, a prepaid label is provided at no charge for both domestic and international returns.
- If Free Return Insurance was not selected, a return label fee will apply.
- Returns submitted outside our portal qualify for store credit only. Out-of-pocket return shipping costs will not be reimbursed.
In-Store Returns (San Diego): You may bring your order to our San Diego location with your order confirmation and original tags. Our team can process your return in person and issue a refund or store credit.
How do I return an order shipped internationally? +
International returns are accepted within 60 days of receiving your order. Items must be in brand-new condition — unworn, unwashed, and unused. International returns are resolved through a refund or store credit only.

After submitting your request, complete the following steps:
- Fold your items and place them back in their original packaging (individual bags, gi bags, or sleeve) before boxing.
- Print the return packing slip from the portal and place it inside your package.
- Ship your return to: Alliance Jiu Jitsu Returns Department, 5710 Kearny Villa Rd, Suite D, San Diego, CA 92123, USA.
- Keep your carrier tracking number — Alliance Jiu Jitsu Store is not liable for packages lost during return shipping.
- Ship within the 60-day window — returns received after this period will not be processed.
Can I make changes to my order after it has been submitted? +
Our team is here for you. If you need to make a change to your order — size, color, delivery address, or recipient name — reach out to us right away with your order number and what you need updated. As long as your order is still in our hands and hasn't been picked up by the carrier, we will do everything we can to make it right for you.

How do I cancel my order? +
Need to cancel? Contact us immediately with your order number and we'll get on it. If your order is still with us and hasn't been picked up by the carrier yet, we will cancel it right away and issue a full refund.

Why did I receive a payment verification email? +
Our platform occasionally flags orders for review when certain risk indicators are detected at checkout — such as a billing and shipping address mismatch, repeated payment attempts, or patterns associated with unauthorized use of a payment method.

I received the wrong item in my order — what should I do? +

- A clear photo of the incorrect item you received

My package was lost or arrived damaged — how do I report it? +
Lost Packages: If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, email us at info@alliancejiujitsustore.com with your order number and tracking status. We will open an investigation with the carrier on your behalf.
Damaged Packages: If your package arrives damaged, photograph both the damaged item and the outer packaging. Send the images along with your order number to info@alliancejiujitsustore.com. Our team will assess the situation and guide you through the resolution process.
Do you offer package protection or order insurance? +
Yes. We offer optional Order Protection through Redo at checkout. The cost is based on your order total and covers:
- Theft
- Lost packages
- Damaged items
- Wrong items received
- Missing items
- Return to sender
Claims are typically resolved the same business day through a reshipment or refund. Redo maintains a 97% claim approval rate.
Even without order protection, our customer service team will work to assist you with any issues that arise with your order.
My gear arrived with a manufacturing defect — what are my options? +
Alliance stands behind the quality of every product we put on the mat. If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect, contact us and we will work to find the right solution. Every case is reviewed individually. Depending on the situation, a partial refund, full refund, or replacement may be available.
Manufacturing defects need to be reported within 90 days of purchase. Items that have been washed, worn in training, or where the concern is unrelated to a manufacturing issue may not qualify under this policy.
Please reach out via our Contact Us page with your order number and a clear photo of the defect. We will respond as quickly as possible — your satisfaction is important to us.
Where do I find the size chart? +
Every Alliance product listing includes a dedicated size chart. We carry the following sizing categories:
- Adult / A sizes — for adult men
- Female / F sizes — designed for women's fit
- Youth / M sizes — for junior and youth practitioners

How do I find the right size for my gi? +
Alliance gi sizing is determined by height and weight. Locate your measurements on the product size chart and find where they intersect. If your height and weight point to different sizes, go with the larger size for the best fit.
Example: If your weight puts you at an A2 but your height suggests an A2L, the A2L will give you the right length through the arms and torso without feeling restricted.

How does Alliance gear fit on the mat? +
Alliance gis are built for performance — featuring a functional, athletic cut designed to hold up through the demands of hard training. The fit is tailored enough to move freely without excess fabric, while staying compliant for competition. Athletes with broader builds or wider shoulders may want to size up for maximum comfort.
Can the jacket and pants be ordered in different sizes? +
At this time, Alliance gis are sold only as complete sets — individual tops and bottoms are not sold separately and split sizing is not available. If the size you received doesn't work, start a return through the portal within 60 days: Start a Return →
What sizes are available for youth No-Gi gear? +
Youth No-Gi sizing follows standard children's age-based sizing:
- XS — Age 4
- S — Age 6
- M — Age 8
- L — Age 10
- XL — Age 12

How do I properly wash and dry my gi? +
Keeping your gi clean and well cared for means it performs better and lasts longer. Here is how we recommend looking after your Alliance gear:
Washing
- Wash your gi after every session — leaving it damp in your bag leads to bacteria and odor buildup.
- Always use a cold water setting to protect against shrinkage.
- Wash inside out with similar colors.
- Use a measured amount of detergent — avoid overloading the wash.
- Never use bleach, as it breaks down cotton fibers and shortens the life of the fabric.
Drying
Air drying by hanging is the recommended method after every wash. Machine drying on high heat can degrade both cotton and polyester components. If you prefer a softer texture, a short low-heat tumble for up to 10 minutes is acceptable.
Odor Control
Soaking your gi in a diluted white vinegar solution once or twice monthly is an effective and fabric-safe way to eliminate persistent odors.
Blood Stains
Treat blood stains immediately with cold water and a stain remover before washing. Never use hot water — it will permanently set the stain.
How much will my Alliance gi shrink after washing? +
100% Cotton Gi's: Most Alliance gis are crafted from 100% cotton. Expect a natural reduction of approximately 2–4 inches depending on the wash temperature and drying method used.
Pre-Shrunk Models: Some models are pre-shrunk during production to minimize post-purchase shrinkage. Check the product description to confirm whether your gi is pre-shrunk before washing.

Does my gi include a belt? +
Some Alliance gi models come with a complimentary white belt — this will be clearly stated in the product listing description. If a belt is included, note that color or size substitutions are not available. The belt size is assigned automatically based on the gi size selected at checkout.
Can I customize Alliance gear for my team or academy? +
Custom gear options are currently available through our wholesale and bulk order program only. Individual custom orders for single items are not offered at this time.

We restock most of our product line on a regular basis. While we cannot confirm specific restock dates in advance, we are building out a notification system for this. - Marketing promo codes typically expire within 3 days of being issued.
- Most codes require a cart total of at least $100 before they can be applied.
- Only one discount code is allowed per order — multiple codes cannot be combined.
